About your Chiropractor – Dr. Alex J. Baxter

My working life did not begin with Chiropractic. I spent 13 years studying and working as a surveyor in Canberra.

I had suffered for many years with back, neck and leg pain and on the recommendation of a friend I visited a chiropractor in the hope of some relief for the 16 years of “growing pains” that I was diagnosed with early in my life.

After a course of chiropractic treatment, I felt a remarkable difference in my wellbeing and the quality of my life improved dramatically. This was a turning point for me and I decided to return to university and begin Chiropractic studies.

When I completed the five-year Chiropractic degree in 1987 at RMIT Bundoora, (formally PIT) I worked for 2 years in Hampton as an associate while establishing my own practice within a dental surgery in Blackburn North.

My practice grew rapidly in the following few years and in 1991 I moved to our current location in Mont Albert North.

I have been here for the past 20 years and now I have a caring family practice servicing the Melbourne area, in particular Mont Albert North and surrounding suburbs.

My focus has always been to offer with honesty and integrity, the best possible choices of chiropractic care, to people of all ages.

The passion I have for Chiropractic more than 20 years ago is still with me today.

I look forward to helping you.
